The retreat will take place from Sunday afternoon, March 19th, to Saturday afternoon, March 25th, and will feature 12 yoga sessions (6 morning classes and 6 afternoon classes) and one 30-minute one-to-one consultation with one of the teachers.
The aim of the retreat is to get a deeper understanding of your body, its strengths and weaknesses, limitations and tensions, and to learn how to use your practice to bring your body and mind into a state of health and wellbeing.
The morning classes will be Vinyasa/Hatha Flow classes working with different parts of your body. The afternoon classes will focus on analysing your body and poses performed in the morning as well as introducing various relaxation techniques and/or pranayama and concentration/meditation exercises.
Prior to the start of the retreat, each student will receive a questionnaire to fill in with questions regarding their health, any conditions and/or illnesses, emotional problems or traumas and their own aims for/expectations from the retreat. They will then be observed in detail in all classes by the teachers in order to help them identify tensions and areas to work on.
On Saturday afternoon, at the end of the retreat, each student will have a 30-minute one-on-one consultation with one of the teachers, who will give them a sequence of poses and/or pranayama/meditation exercises which would be most beneficial for their body and mind and can be used fo their daily self practice.
We will work in a small group, which will ensure maximum personal attention from your teachers and help you develop completely new awareness of your body and help you understand and heal it.
