India has drawn people from all over the world with its mystical charm and spirituality. As the world becomes more and more capitalistic, people begin to realise that what we really need is to come back to ourselves and find our purpose again.
Our aim during the retreat will be to bring you closer to the traditional teachings of yoga, with its original spiritual texts and mythology, and show you how they can be applied in our modern lives.
You will have two 90-minute classes per day from Monday to Saturday, and a day off on Sunday. The morning classes will be dynamic Vinyasa Flow, and will help you build a strong and flexible body, determination and focus. The afternoons will be slower, with restorative or yin poses, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques as well as concentration and meditation. Both classes will include elements of yoga philosophy and mythology, helping you to get a deeper understanding of the true essence of yoga. On excursion days there will only be one yoga class per day.
Our studio is an open space made out of bamboo, with views down to the sea and over palm trees, a gentle breeze from the ocean, sounds of the waves and monkeys frolicking around - a perfect place to connect with nature and yourself!
The classes will be led by Orsi and Magda, experienced instructors with hundreds of hours of training and thousands of teaching hours, who have been living in Goa since 2011 and will be happy to provide you with any advice you may need (about your yoga practice, food, local area and anything else you may be interested in).
All levels are welcome - whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned practitioner, you will be looked after and challenged in a safe way!
